KLAS 7.2b13, Physical Inventory | This lesson covers the new Physical Inventory function of KLAS. This function allows you to freeze an area of you inventory and reconcile the actual shelf counts with the number of available items in Klas. When a batch is frozen, the items in that batch cannot be checked out or checked in and they cannot be assigned. Included in the lesson is locating the Physical Inventory function, creating a new batch of items, freezing the batch, printing a worksheet for offline use, reconciling the numbers within KLAS to match the actual shelf count, printing a Reconciliation report, and finally posting a batch which will save the correct number of items in KLAS and unfreeze the batch.
