Librarian/Information Technologist
Customer Services Specialist
A position is available for an implementation team member in a software company specializing in library
management software. This position provides conversion and implementation
services and on-going support services to new and existing customers.
Applicant must have excellent communication skills, be well organized, and be a
self-starter. The team member must work well with others and accept responsibility
to see the job through to completion.
Basic Requirements
- MLS, MSIS, MSLS or equivalent education
- 2-5 years experience preferably in library operations
Primary duties and responsibilities are:
- Consulting and training for new installations
- Continuing customer support
- End user documentation
- Application testing
- Making technical presentations for sales
Duties may include:
- Working with development team on automation system
requirements and specifications
- Writing marketing materials
- Writing proposals
- Systems design review
