Empower Patrons with Several Search Options

Offering simple, combination, and advanced searching, KLAS allows patrons to use the level of searching appropriate for their needs. Patrons with straightforward search requests can use the simple Author, Title, and Subject searches. More advanced users will enjoy the combination searching using multiple fields and Boolean operators to develop complex or highly precise searches.

Patrons can Help Themselves with Self-Registration and Patron Information Features

To help circulation desk lines move swiftly, KLAS offers patrons the ability to initiate registration for a library card. Patrons may also check their records, holds, etc. right from the Public/Patron Access main menu. Patrons are assured of security because they, and they alone, know their Personal Identification Number.
